Pictures Of The Crew And Passengers Of The Ill-Fated Dana Aircraft
On Sunday, 3rd of June, 2012, a McDonnell Douglas (MD83) aircraft registered with the number 5N-RAM belonging to Dana Air went down in the densely-populated area of Agege in Lagos killing over 150 on board and on the ground. The pictures below show some of the passengers and crew of the ill-fated craft.
Dana Air is expected to pay nothing less than $100,000 (N16 million) as insurance claims to the families of each of the passengers as stipulated by the provisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). As for the two pilots, the airline will pay a sum of $250,000 (N40 million) each while the six crew members will be paid $150,000 each (N24 million).
May their souls rest in perfect but honestly speaking, what is wrong with Nigeria and what can we do to salvage our dear nation?
