Miss Eneh (real names witheld) is 25 years old but just a few weeks to what was to be the most memorable day of her life, she was gang-raped by three men in her neighborhood.

It occurred at a popular guesthouse at Ikotun, Lagos and the woman's case is worsened by the fact that her fiance has called off plans for the wedding stating that he cannot marry her again. Explaining her story with fury and anger, Miss Eneh, said that one of the rapists, named Efe Oguntuwase once wooed her but she turned down his advances and did not suspect that Efe had a very bad plan for her.
She stated that on her way home last week, Efe (in front of the guest) called her and she went in to answer him. Unknown to her, Efe had perfected plans to rape her. While she was resisting Efe's efforts, two other culprits, named Benson and Ismail entered and threatened to take her life if she resisted or raised any alarm.
It was at this point that she said she surrendered and they took their turns to rape her . Afterwards, the matter was reported to the police, Benson and Ismail were arrested but Efe had escaped and is still at large.

The two have been charged to court (Ejigbo Magistrate Court, Lagos) for rape and conspiracy. The presiding judge has ordered them to be remanded in police custody for a while before their trial continues.

ReplyDeletethat was a big mistake to the Girls part,she shouldn't have entered the guesthouse knowing that the Guy has once asked her out.As for the fiance,am beginning to suspect him that he might know something about her rape case.It sounds like he never wanted the marriage and he needed to act fast.

DeleteThe guy was never meant to be her husband in the first place.i doubt His love and trust for her. The lady should thank God the wedding didn't eventually work out even though its very painful to go through such most especially when its just three weeks to wedding. This is nothing compared to having a marital challenge. What if the Lady was raped after marriage and the guy abandons or divorces her? what if d guy assaults/abuses her after marriage and she doesn't enjoy her marriage. God will give her a man that loves her and he's willing to accept her for who she is. She should cheer up, stop mourning, look good because her future is bright, better days are ahead for her.
