Applications for the hottest youth contest have been accepted since the 1st of May 2012 and until the 20th of June, 2012, you can submit your applications. It is organized by In'Genius, an organization that gives brilliant Nigerians the avenue to express their gifts and creativity, especially as to how the country can prosper. This is the first edition and Nigerian undergraduates all over the globe can submit their applications.  

Deadline for Submission of Applications: 20th June, 2012

Venue: Moshood Abiola University, Lagos

Prizes: N2.5 million (naira) 

First Runner-Up:  N1.5 million naira

Second Runner-Up: N750,000

Age Bracket: 18-35 years

For the top ten finalists, they will have meetings with government leaders, business experts and entrepreneurs. The top 20 finalists will also be featured in the first In'Genius magazine. 


Applications are accepted from all areas and fields of study (not restricted to any area). After the initial stage, there will be two more stages during which a panel of judges and users of the cyberspace (Internet) will be allowed to select the winners by voting. To apply, you must submit your brilliant ideas in the following six areas:

-ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

-AFFORDABLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (HARDWARE & SOFTWARE)

-AGRICULTURE (COST-EFFECTIVE MECHANIZATION SYSTEMS)

-TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS FOR EFFECTIVE TAX MANAGEMENT IN NIGERIA (HARDWARE & SOFTWARE)

-RELEVANT DESIGNS FOR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN NIGERIA (MONUMENTS & VIRTUAL SYSTEMS)
