Dame Patience Jonathan Breaks Record

Dame Patience Jonathan has become the first First Lady of Nigeria to be appointed a Permanent Secretary. The appointment came from the government of Bayelsa State, which is headed by President Goodluck Jonathan's political son, Seriake Dickson.

Nigeria's First Lady, Dame Patience Faka Jonathan, now a Permanent Secretary with the Bayelsa State government.
The position is actually one for senior civil servants, and the Dame was appointed alongside 17 others. But I am a bit baffled o, is there any like a honorary appointment in the Nigerian civil service? Is the First Lady to  report at duty or what is the basis of such an appointment especially since she has been engrossed with the duties of the Wife of the Nigerian President, just wondering noni! #NaijaThings#

The newest Perm Sec in town, she seems to be telling the enemies: talk to the hand! lol!
